Journey by Dawn

Melbourne Port Philip Bay: BRIGHTON BEACH AND ST.KILDA PENGUINS!

This morning energised by jet-lag, I decided to explore two famous beaches in Melbourne. Brighton beach famous for the coloured houses by the beach a.k.a. bathing boxes. They have been around since 1862 and are used, well, for a comfortable stay at the beach (or storage). 🙂

From there you can also see the beautiful view of Melbourne and enjoy a picnic while overlooking the bay. Little blue birds came by to greet me. 🙂

St.Kilda pier is quite empty early morning and very windy, as expected. The black rocks on the sides of the pier give a stunning contrast to the blue waters and white sail boats. And to my surprise lovely penguins were chilling out under the stairs in between the rocks!

*I hope you enjoyed my photos! Looking forward to more exploring and sharing with you of this beautiful windy and colourful city that Melbourne is!
